Poker Hand Rankings

One of the very first thing you need to learn in poker is what hand beats what. In Texas Hold’em all of the suits are equal so if the hand is tied then the pot is split between the players left in the hand.

Listed below are all the rankings of possible hands with a Royal Flush as the best possible hand and high card as the lowest ranking hand.

This is a Straight Flush from ten to ace. A Royal Flush is the strongest hand in poker.

Four cards all of the same rank.

Three of a kind and a pair.
