When you play poker you can never see what your opponents pocket cards are. This is built into the very fundamentals of the game and makes poker the great game it is.

The incomplete informations in Poker that you are faced with can however be overcome, there are ways that you will be able to almost see your opponents hands. Good poker players study poker players, they watch what cards they play and which ones they fold, they watch what kinds of bets and raises are made and after the round finishes they will get to see what cards the other player was holding when making those bets.

If you watch someone long enough you can get a feel for what he may be playing and although you wont be able to physically see what they have you could make an educated guess from what you have seen to what they might have.

That incomplete information is now not so incomplete, the top players will analyze everything you do so that they can put you on a hand. It wont be that they will say ok he has the Queen of hearts and the 10 of hearts, they will generalise so they will put you on a high pair, high unconnected cards like AK or watch you and realise your going for the flush, either way once you learn how to do this you will be able to have an insight to what your opponent has and how he is likely to play it.

Try it the next time your at the table, pick out one player and make notes of his actions and at the end which cards he was playing. See if you can read his cards.
